Julia Lynes is 29 years of age and lives in Cork. She has a Degree in European Studies from UCC and for the past 6 years has run her own business EazyCork & EazyDublin providing flexible accommodation solutions in both cities.
She is the incoming President of Network Cork which is a networking group for women in business, the professions and the arts.
Because I am a Girl I ask… many questions, all the time!!
Because I am a Girl I believe… in change. I think change is always possible if people don’t give up fighting for it.
Because I am a Girl I hope… that people who are more fortunate never stop helping those who are not.
Because I am a Girl I wonder… why I was so lucky to be given the life I have and why other girls were born into an utterly different life.
Because I am a Girl I dream… of having it all! The great career, perfect family life etc. Then I realise I am so very privileged to even dream of those things.
Because I am a Girl I remember… a wonderful childhood and wish girls all over the world could say the same.
Because I am a Girl I like… the feeling of having a great female support system. My girlfriends, mother and female cousins are always there when I need them and knowing that, gives me strength.
Because I am a Girl I dislike… injustice. I feel very protective if I see someone being treated unfairly and I always feel that I should do something about it.
Because I am a Girl I feel… strong and able to take on the world! (…some days).
Because I am a Girl I… can do anything I set my mind to!
