Google staffers tell us their thoughts on being girls (and boys!) and why it’s so important that women and girls across the world are empowered.
The project was undertaken by Google staff as part of Google Serve, a companywide project that started in 2008, which has now grown into an annual tradition. Thousands of “Googlers” globally take part in hundreds of community service projects across the world. The volunteer program partners with schools, local governments, and nonprofit organisations to benefit people and surrounding areas in need.
