Because I am a Girl I ask…how I can be the change I want to see in the world.
Because I am a Girl I believe…Climate Change is real and it is our moral imperative to help protect the rights of those whose are most vulnerable and most effected.
Because I am a Girl I hope…to see big changes in equality, fairness and justice here in Ireland and worldwide
Because I am a Girl I wonder…why women can be so horrible to one another. There is so much passive aggression amongst women, surely we have enough to deal with, we should play nice and have each others backs.
Because I am a Girl I dream…big, there’s no point in doing it small.
Because I am a Girl I remember…my childhood summers in Wexford, where the sun was always shining, we were always laughing and everyone was happy. I’ve been lucky, everyone should have those memories.
Because I am a Girl I like…living in a city with Pride. I love seeing people celebrate who they are and who they love.
Because I am a Girl I dislike…small minded people.
Because I am a Girl I feel...proud to have spent the last three months working in such a great organisation. Plan works to transform the lives of vulnerable children, especially girls. I feel really proud to have played, even just a small, part in that!
Because I am a Girl I celebrate…any chance I get with the people I love. There’s always time for a ROP! x
Well done Jane! What’s an ROP?
Tino, it’s a traditional Maher celebration. x
